September 1, 2009 – Phoenix – Brotecs Inc., a growing independent software vendor, announces the availability of X2Phone, a cost-effective Cloud Softphone Platform especially designed for providers of VoIP and calling card services.  This new Cloud-based hosted softphone platform allows calling card vendors to expand their geographic market, introduce new services to their users, cut costs, and increase their VoIP revenue – with no capital investment.  Brotecs’ X2Phone seamlessly integrates into the calling card vendors existing infrastructure as X2Phone’s plug-n-play integration modules allows companies integrate their CRM system into a single, easy-to-use “one-touch” system.  Additionally, the end-user interface can be fully customized according to the vendor’s branding.

Call History: Records all outgoing calls and matches them against the existing contact database so that numbers are identified by their names.

Direct Access to User Account Balance and Call History: Allows users to easily check their account balances and view call histories via the Softphone interface.

Adaptive Jitter Buffer, Silence Detector and Packet Lost Concealment: Provides sufficient status to trigger Packet Lost Concealment (PLC) invocation. It can utilize both VAD feature that provided by codec (such as Speex’s encoder VAD) or X2Phone’s own adaptive silence detection implementation for codecs that do not have silence detection (such as G.711, GSM, or iLBC).
